About DJ KenFused

​Inspired by the ground-breaking book, Oliver Wang's "Legions of Boom", KQED Arts Producer Claudia Escobar created this mini-documentary, describing the legendary DJ scene that I came from. 

I've been a part of the San Francisco Bay Area DJ scene, with over 25 years of experience.  I've built a solid reputation, after playing at countless events in every county of the San Francisco Bay Area. As evidenced by my reviews and mixes, my vast musical knowledge, ability to 'read the crowd', and the creativity I put into playing the music, are vital in getting - and keeping - people on the dance floor. The services I provide include the role of MC, allowing me to inject a little personality and humor, while keeping the event running smoothly. 

I've collaborated with countless elite event planners and coordinators at events held by some of the top business entities here in the San Francisco Bay Area. The following lists of clients for whom I've worked and venues at which I've played, are ever-expanding, and I'm on the preferred vendor roster at many of these venues.  As shown in the photos that I've provided, my ability and experience in performing at parties occurring indoors, outdoors - or both - is indisputable.  The advanced technology and portability of my equipment allows me to adapt to any logistical situation that I am presented with.

My goals are simple: completely satisfy my clients with the best in customer service - particularly during the planning stages leading up to the event; and provide an unforgettable and fun experience. Whether it's a wedding, a corporate function, or a private event like a birthday, anniversary, Bat Mitzvah/Bar Mitzvah, quinceanera, debut, school fundraiser, crab feed, reunion, or holiday celebration, my aim is to have folks wishing that the party would never end! With dozens of music genres gathered from all over the world, and reaching back nearly a century, I can please folks of all ages, ethnicities, and musical tastes.
